EV charger installation
We install charge points for homes and businesses, from a single wallbox in the carport to several charging points in a car park. Cables are run neatly and safely, indoors or out, and the charger goes where it is easy to use every day.
Before installing, we check whether the supply cable and panel can take the extra load and whether load balancing is needed. The charger gets its own circuit with the correct residual current protection, and we test the installation before handover.
We advise on power (11 or 22 kW), placement and app control, and we can install a charger you have already bought.
Installation and earth testing
An electrical installation is not finished until it has been measured and tested. We test all the work we do before handover, and you get the results in writing.
- Continuity of the protective (earth) conductor to sockets, lights and equipment
- Insulation resistance between conductors and to earth
- Earth resistance and earth electrode
- Residual current device (RCD): trip time and trip current
- Polarity, phase sequence and fault current
The test can also be booked on its own, for example when buying or selling a house, in older homes, after a renovation or when the RCD trips for no obvious reason.
Solar and home battery
From rails on the roof to the connection in the panel. We install and connect PV systems and battery storage, notify the grid company and test everything before it goes into operation.

Fault finding and repair
Power cuts out, a breaker trips, a socket is dead. We find the fault and fix it so the installation is safe again, and we document what was done.
We measure our way through the panel and out into the installation until we find the cause, so it is not just the symptom that gets removed. Older panels with screw fuses and RCDs get checked at the same time.
